Glasgow University Music Club
The Music Club is a student-run society which was formed in 1954, comprising various different groups and ensembles spanning many genres. All the groups are open to any ability, and no auditions are necessary. The club is friendly and social, with most groups going for post-rehearsal drinks, and regular social events with the whole club. With 5 different ensembles and 4 annual concerts, as well as a residential trip and the end of year ball, music club is a relaxed and enjoyable way of playing music while meeting some great people at Uni. You can also connect with us on both Facebook and Twitter.
The annual general meeting will be taking place very soon. This is one of the most important events in our calender as it includes the elections of new board members to create the committee for the following year. Aside from this, it will also be a good fun night out so come along even if you have no immediate plans to be a board member to see what the fuss is all about!
The date of the AGM will be posted on the website very soon.
60th Anniversary Ball
This year's music club/department ball is very special as we are celebrating the 60 years since the music club was established at Glasgow University with a special anniversary ball! The ball will take place on Thursday 27th May.
